Are you tired of creating songs only a few people hear? * Follow these step and you can get your song(s) played on the air. * Here is your opportunity to reach another milestone in your music career. * Make sure your songs have no cursing or vulgar language. * Make sure they have a great mix and have been mastered.
Song Submission Dates * Submit songs before these dates: (Winter Play Before: Jan 30, 2019), (Spring Play Before: March 30, 2019) (Summer Play Before: June 30, 2019), (Fall Play Before: Sept 30, 2019)
Sign Up With A PRO Performing Rights Organization * Sign up for one of these agencies: ASCAP, BMI, or SESAC * Also join Sound Exchange to get paid on the streaming side. (your music on the Internet) (Click link below to go to page two and sign up with a PRO) * If you don't know how to do this please email us at: indievizion@gmail.com. We will be glad to help. * We will host in person workshops in the future on Artist business via Zoom.
Copyright Information Make sure your songs are copyrighted, meaning not a poor man's copyright but, copy righted with the Library of Congress. Cost $35 for a single song with only one writer and composer Cost $55 for up to 10 songs, lyric books, with multiple artist, producers, composers, and writers.

How to get your songs played on air
INSTRUCTIONS FOR RADIO AIR PLAY Are you tired of creating songs only a few people hear? Follow these step and you can get your song(s) played on the air.
Rule 1: Our language policy
Make sure your songs have no cursing or vulgar language.
Rule 2: Secure your Intellectual property
Things to do before you submit your songs to any Radio Station, CD Baby, Apple Music, or on the Internet, Facebook, or Youtube Make sure your song has been mixed, mastered, and copyrighted. Now, make sure you signed up with one of the PROs BMI, ASCAP, or SESAC. to get paid when your song is played. Next, sign up with Sound Exchange to get paid every time someone or some station streams your song online. Finally, submit your song to: indievizion@gmail.com which is Live I-5 Radio's Indie Vizion Network. If you plan on selling your songs online do not post them on FaceBook, or on Youtube. If they are free why would anyone purchase them? People are going to check youtube first before they purchase your material. Be smart and careful.
